About Khan

Khan Booker was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM in 2014. The following year, Khan moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he worked for the State of New Mexico before transitioning into the commercial insurance industry as a broker. He later specialized as an underwriter, focusing on complex, hard-to-insure risks. In 2020, Khan began his legal education at the University of New Mexico School of Law (UNMSOL). During law school, he served as a staff member and manuscript editor for the Natural Resources Journal. He was also actively involved in the Black Law Students Association, where he served as treasurer. His academic achievements include earning the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in both Business Associations and Criminal Procedure - recognition for achieving the highest grade in those courses. Khan’s contributions to the law school community were further acknowledged when he received the Faculty Award, which honors exceptional service and leadership. He was also selected by his peers to receive the Clarence Darrow Award - given to the student most trusted to serve as their legal representative, should they ever need one. After graduating magna cum laude from UNMSOL, Khan served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Shammara H. Henderson at the New Mexico Court of Appeals. Following his clerkship, he began practicing personal injury law, advocating for injured clients across New Mexico. In 2025, Khan joined Fadduol, Cluff, Hardy & Conaway, where he continues to provide dedicated and compassionate legal representation to individuals who have been wrongfully harmed.
