About Kimberly

A native of Clarks Summit, Kimberly Kost Scanlon is a graduate of the University of Scranton (B.S. in Accounting 1999) and Widener University School of Law (J.D. 2003). After completing her formal education, Attorney Kost Scanlon served as a law clerk for two (2) years to the Honorable Carmen D. Minora in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas. Attorney Kost Scanlon was also an adjunct professor at Lackawanna College in the Paralegal Studies Program from 2006 through 2008. Currently she teaches as an adjunct professor at Keystone College in LaPlume, Pennsylvania, in the Business Management program. Attorney Kost Scanlon is currently the President of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Lackawanna County Bar Association, and sits on the Lackawanna County Bar Association Board of Directors. She also sits on several social Lackawanna County Bar Association Committees. Attorney Kost Scanlon sits on the Board of Directors of Lackawanna Pro Bono and has recently been appointed as Secretary of the Coxton Lake Protective Association, which is an organization dedicated to the preservation of Coxton Lake in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. Attorney Kost Scanlon concentrates her practice in civil litigation, commercial law, municipal law, school law, real estate and estate planning and administration. Attorney Scanlon currently serves as managing partner of the firm.
