About Kirk
Kirk Mathis, a native of Lufkin, Texas, is a dedicated and accomplished attorney at CMZ Law. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 1994 and Texas Tech School of Law with a J.D. in 1998. Mr. Mathis has spent his entire legal career fighting for justice, achieving numerous high-stakes verdicts including the largest Texas Tort Claims Act verdict in Nacogdoches County (1998) and the largest personal injury verdicts in Jasper (1999) and Angelina Counties (2001). He is licensed in Texas and various U.S. Federal Courts, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer and received an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is actively involved in several prestigious legal organizations and his local community.
