About Kristopher

A native Texan, Mr. Barber grew up in Plano. He received a psychology degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. Among his many law school achievements, Mr. Barber was named the nation’s “Best Oral Advocate” during the American Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition, and he was inducted into SMU’s Order of Barristers upon graduation, an honor bestowed on only the top 10 law school student advocates. After law school, Mr. Barber initially began his legal career at a large insurance defense firm. During his time there, he was trained the ways in which claims are defended by insurance companies and the circumstances under which they pay to settle. He then put that valuable knowledge to work during his time as plaintiff’s attorney for Windle Turley. At the Law Offices of Windle Turley, P.C., Mr. Barber served as lead trial attorney for numerous complex negligence cases, product liability cases, wrongful death cases, medical malpractice cases, and other high-value personal injury claims.
