Laurence Krutchik is the founder and managing partner at LMK Legal, a prominent Miami based personal injury and commercial litigation law firm, which is of Counsel to Scolaro Law. With a career spanning over 16 years, Laurence has established himself as a highly accomplished and effective litigator. For personal injury plaintiffs, he has extensive experience in cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, catastrophic injuries, nursing home negligence, maritime/cruise line negligence and shipboard medical malpractice, and motor vehicle accidents. He has further distinguished himself In the commercial litigation arena where he routinely represents clients in cases involving shareholder disputes, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, commercial lease disputes, and probate and trust disputes. Laurence also defends fellow attorneys in legal malpractice and charging lien cases. Laurence is a natural fit for Scolaro Law. Prior to founding LMK Legal, Laurence defended FedEx Express in their trucking accident cases throughout Florida, international airlines in mass casualty plane crash cases, major cruise lines in shipboard medical malpractice and negligence cases, and various corporations throughout Florida as insurance defense counsel in both commercial and tort cases. Laurence is originally from New Jersey, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston, and relocated to Florida where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad College of Law. While in law school, Laurence served as the Managing Technical Editor on the Executive Board of the Nova Law Review in which one of his articles was published and he also interned for Magistrate Judge Barry Seltzer in the Southern District of Florida. He is admitted to practice law in all Florida state and federal courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Laurence previously served on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee based in Miami.
