About Lawrence
Lawrence J. Ferolie passed away on July 29, 2012 at age 90. He founded the law firm in 1967. He practiced law for more than 50 years, serving as Assistant State's Attorney for Winnebago County and City Attorney for Rockford. He was recognized as an expert in civil trial practice, authored legal articles, and lectured extensively. He was active in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and John Marshall Law School, which awarded him the 'Citation of Merit as a Distinguished Alumni.' He served in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
