About Leigh
Leigh was born in Utah, then adopted and raised in Minnesota. She started her undergrad degree in music at Abilene Christian University and finished with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies at the University of Minnesota. Her studies at the U of M directed her toward law, so she attended William Mitchell College of Law (now known as Mitchell Hamline). Leigh’s childhood experiences and degree in Women’s Studies, fit very well with the practice of family law. She is proud to provide a range of representation for families, whether composed of individuals who are biological or adopted, married or never married, cis-gender or non-binary, to name a few. Leigh advises clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area on family law matters, including divorce, child support, custody and visitation, and spousal maintenance. Leigh has been happily married for nearly twenty years. She and her husband love spending time with each other, as well as with good friends they have found along the way and whom they consider family. Leigh and her husband have family scattered throughout the U.S., whom they visit as often as possible. While they are, and have always been, city dwellers, they recently became owners of a house in the country in Connecticut.
