About Leonard

Leonard C. Heath, Jr. is a Partner and a trial attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts across Virginia. He focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, business litigation, will/trust/estate disputes, and real estate litigation. He served as the 80th President of the Virginia State Bar in 2018-19, being the first attorney from the Virginia Peninsula to do so in over 50 years. He is recognized on the Super Lawyers' list, holds an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale Hubbell, and a "Superb" rating from AVVO. In January 2020, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation and is also a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America. He is an expert in law student and lawyer well-being, serving on the Virginia Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program and the Virginia Supreme Court Wellness Advisory Committee. He has over 30 years of experience in legal matters.
