About Lloyd

Lloyd D. Murray, Sr. began his legal practice in 1978 in Pembroke, Georgia, after being mentored by Judge Harvey. A graduate of Armstrong State College and John Marshall Law School, he is a member of several legal associations including the American Bar Association and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and served twice as President of the Atlantic Bar Association. He was instrumental in establishing the Public Defender Program for the Atlantic Circuit. With a forty-four-year career, he has represented thousands of clients in criminal matters, including 18 capital punishment cases without a client receiving the death penalty, and secured a $7,000,000 civil judgment.
