Madalena Freed

About Madalena

A National Capital Region native, Madalena Freed is an associate attorney in MMR’s Oakton office. Madalena focuses her practice on liability, insurance defense, and workers’ compensation defense. Madalena joined the military after college and served on active duty for about four years. During this time, she worked on a specialized team in New York City as a hazardous materials response expert. In this role, she facilitated the safety of numerous high profile events in the city. Throughout law school, Madalena continued to serve in the New York Army National Guard as a logistics officer, serving as a platoon leader and executive officer of a transportation company. In the summer of 2021, Maddy served as in intern for the Hon. Craig Stephen Brown of the Orange County Supreme Court. Madalena feels that her fine art background provided a foundation in creative thinking that stays with her today in legal practice and is particularly useful in navigating the complexities of litigation.
