About Marissa

Marissa Murtaugh joined the law firm of Platt, DiGiorgio and DiFabio as an Associate Attorney in 2021. Ms. Murtaugh completed her undergraduate studies at Temple University, where she majored in Journalism. After graduation Ms. Murtaugh secured a position as an editor for a medical publication before transitioning into a career in Project Management. While working as a project manager Ms. Murtaugh specialized in large scale web based pharmaceutical and ecommerce-based projects. After almost a decade in the field, Ms. Murtaugh decided to pursue a different career path and enrolled in law school. Ms. Murtaugh matriculated at Delaware Law School, while working part time as a legal assistant for Vincent P. DiFabio. She worked as Mr. DiFabio’s assistant for three years and aided him in day-to-day management of criminal cases, as well as estate administration and estate planning matters. Ms. Murtaugh’s practice focuses on criminal law, estate planning and administration and family law.
