Mark Avera is a partner at Avera & Smith, practicing law since 1989. He is recognized as one of Florida’s preeminent trial lawyers, focusing on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, including medical and legal malpractice. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law since 1998, a distinction held by few lawyers. His career includes significant jury verdicts against tobacco giants.
