About Mark
Mark D. Plaisance is known for handling high-profile and complicated appeals, having handled over 500 state and federal supervisory writs and appeals. He has appeared, argued, and won cases in every appellate court in Louisiana, the Louisiana Supreme Court, the United States Federal Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Licensed in Louisiana since 1994, Mark dedicated the greater part of his legal career to appellate courts. He served for six years as Baker City Court Judge, never having a decision reversed. Mark also teaches continuing education classes for attorneys and has taught as an adjunct instructor at Nicholls State University.
