Mark Melmed

About Mark

Mark is an attorney at Whitcomb Selinsky, PC specializing in civil litigation and government contracting. He brings his diverse experience in and outside the legal field into every personal and professional interaction with clients and peers. Mark has a passion for helping clients navigate complicated aspects of litigation. Prior to joining Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C., Mark worked at a boutique law firm specializing in Chapter 11 creditor and debtor representation. There, Mark gained experience in creditor-debtor workouts, real estate transactions, and commercial litigation. Mark is admitted to practice law in Colorado, including the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. During law school, Mark interned for District Court Judge Jay S. Grant in Denver District Court and Senior Administrative Law Judge Edwin L. Felter, Jr. in the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts. Mark also competed in and was a team captain for his school in the 30th and 31st Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competitions. Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also an alumnus of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Patagonia, Chile. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors (especially, skiing, road-biking, and hiking) and exploring the greater Denver area. Mark is a faithful Minnesota Vikings fan and a former Breckenridge ski instructor.
