About Mark
Mark W. Smith was born in Hackensack, New Jersey in 1957. He graduated from Moravian College with a BA in 1979. Mark received a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law. He served as a law clerk in Indiana County, Pennsylvania for one year after law school. From 1983 through 1985 Mark served as the Assistant District Attorney for Bradford County. Mark has been with the firm since 1985. Mark practices law generally with a concentration in Real Estate law, Business law, and Estate Planning and Administration. Mark is one of the principals of First Abstract. Mark is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a licensed title agent with the PA Department of Insurance. Mark is the managing partner of First Abstract and oversees all aspects of the business of the company along with handling all legal and underwriting issues. Mark oversees each office of First Abstract.
