Matthew T. Sheffield, Esq. is an attorney with extensive experience in fighting for his clients’ rights and a proven track record in successfully handling complex litigation. He graduated from Syracuse University with dual degrees in Political Science and Television/Radio/Film and earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to joining the Todd J Leonard Law Firm, he worked at an employment law firm specializing in wage and hour law and represented companies in administrative hearings. He also worked for a consumer protection law firm, prosecuting claims under various federal consumer protection acts. Mr. Sheffield's reputation was built by successfully litigating cases in arbitration tribunals and Federal courts across the country, including a published opinion by the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
