About Max

Max Hanson brings a sharp mind, straightforward approach, and unwavering dedication to his clients with almost three decades of legal experience. He graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in History and obtained his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 1997. During law school, he served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal and directed the Homeless Legal Assistance Project (HLAP). His legal style is smart, honest, and effective, earning him countless handwritten thank-you notes. Outside the office, Max is a devoted family man, married for nearly 32 years. He has supported his kids’ activities, from Boy Scouts to his daughter’s swim team. A lover of sports, he passionately follows Arsenal F.C., the Boston Red Sox, and Arizona’s local teams. He enjoys hiking, swimming, and testing out new recipes. In the office, Max has a reputation as the “big, intimidating bear” until people realize he’s a teddy bear with an encyclopedic knowledge of trivia. He approaches everything with intelligence, integrity, and humor.
