About Meg
Meg graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2018 and started her legal career in Georgia the same year. During her time at Alabama, Meg worked as a law clerk for a United States Attorney’s Office and a federal magistrate judge. Meg was also selected as an Honors Intern for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Meg participated as a member of Alabama’s national mock trial teams in addition to serving as President of Alabama’s Public Interest Student Board. Prior to attending law school, Meg graduated summa cum laude from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia with a degree in Sociology. For the first five years of her career, Meg served as an Assistant District Attorney in both the Lookout Mountain and Conasauga District Attorney’s Office successfully handling numerous jury trials for violent felony cases and serving as the primary domestic violence prosecutor in Whitfield County. Meg appeared before the Georgia Supreme Court in 2020 for oral argument earning a favorable outcome for her office and clarifying several statutes. Meg's current practice focuses on civil litigation. Meg enjoys participating in the Dalton community and at Fellowship Bible Church. She also volunteers as a high school mock trial coach for Southeast High School, and volunteers at the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia.
