About Melissa
Melissa C. Meirink is a shareholder at Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd. who focuses her practice in civil litigation, employment law, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining MM&R in 2016, she worked for a St. Louis law firm in the area of civil litigation and family law. Melissa earned her B.A. in Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008. She then attended Saint Louis University School of Law and graduated cum laude with her J.D. in 2011. While in law school, Melissa served as an editor for the Saint Louis University Law Journal, Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and was a faculty fellow. She also actively participated in SLU’s legal clinic, where she assisted clients through the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry. During that time, Melissa was recognized as a David Grant Clinic Student Award Finalist for dedication and commitment to the representation of clinic clients.
