About Meredith

Meredith Carter is an experienced litigator with over 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs and advocating to protect her clients’ legal rights in trials, arbitrations, and appeals. Meredith has successfully tried and settled numerous cases for clients in her two decades of practicing law, including matters against multi-million and billion-dollar corporations that resulted in six-figure settlements. Meredith brings a wealth of litigation experience to the firm, combined with a demonstrated ability to help build client relationships. Meredith’s focus is on helping those injured in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, dog bites, those injured on the premises of a business or other property, slip and fall incidents, and those injured from general negligence. Meredith also represents individuals who were sexually assaulted in the workplace or because of negligent security. Meredith earned a Juris Doctor degree from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 2003. While at Samford, she became involved with the Trial Advocacy Board and Moot Court. In her undergraduate career, Meredith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Communications and Spanish from Auburn University. She is licensed to practice in Georgia as well as Alabama and is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in Georgia. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys attending Auburn football games, going to the beach, working out, and enjoying Atlanta’s abundant food scene.
