About Michael
Michael J. Cassidy is a seasoned attorney with broad experience helping large and small institutional entities navigate through complex legal challenges. He concentrates his practice in both the public and private sectors, having represented public school districts, municipalities, and municipal authorities as both solicitor and special counsel for over twenty years, as well as businesses in a variety of commercial sectors. Additionally, he has extensive experience with both residential and commercial land development projects, with involvement in all stages from land acquisition, zoning, permitting, and land development plan approval. Prior to starting his legal career, Mr. Cassidy served in the United States Navy as a commissioned naval flight officer flying tactical jets. He currently serves as Johnson Duffie’s Administrative Shareholder with responsibility for day-to-day management of the firm, as well as head of the Municipal & School Law Practice Group.
