About Michael

Michael recently joined Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery as a litigation attorney. Michael previously practiced law as a litigation associate in the law firm of Maire & Deedon, as a deputy county counsel for the County of Mendocino, and as a solo practitioner. Michael’s practice currently focuses on business and commercial law, secured creditor representation, real property disputes, and trust and estate litigation. He practices in state, federal and bankruptcy courts, and previously assisted clients on matters involving business, real property, sovereign and civil rights, employment, personal injury, and public and municipal law. Michael values community and family. He has volunteered as an instructor for the learn to swim program organized by the Rotary Club of Sebastopol and spent two years serving as an ombudsman with the County of Sonoma. The Alameda County Bar Association recognized Michael twice for his pro bono legal services, and he has served in leadership positions in two different bar associations. When Michael is not practicing law, you can find him with his wife and two children, working in his yard and garden, hiking, or swimming.
