About Mike

After serving with the US Marine Corps after graduating high school, Mike attended and graduated from Ohio University in 1974, receiving a degree in business administration. After graduating and prior to attending law school, he worked several years in the airline industry at JFK International Airport in New York. There as a Cargo Manager he ran the cargo operations for several major airline carriers, including working for Saudi Arabian Airlines for eight years. He subsequently attended Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey, receiving his law degree in 1985. Mr. Blickensderfer is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey, as well as the US Federal Middle District Court of Florida. He has experience in personal injury, including automobile accidents, premises cases, slip and falls, dog bites, wrongful death, marine and aviation accidents, and motor cycle and truck accidents. Other practice areas include real estate transactions, loan modifications short sales, foreclosure defense, title insurance and real estate litigation. Other legal experience includes family law, social security, labor law and bankruptcy cases, representing clients in Chapter 7 and 13 matters. He has extensive criminal law experience having served as a prosecutor both in Florida and New York as well as having been a Public Defender, where he gained experience in trial work, prosecuting and defending hundreds of clients in areas including narcotics, Medicaid fraud, white collar crime and DUI offenses, to name a few. He and his wife Viviane owned and operated a title insurance company for many years in Tampa, Florida. They have been married over 43 years, have 3 adult children and currently 3 grandchildren. They are also very active in Christian ministry, both being ordained pastors, with a passion to share their faith in God and the Lord Jesus, and see others come to faith and be delivered and set free and grow in their faith.
