In his free time, Mike likes watching his Chicago White Sox and Bradley basketball and spending time with friends and family including watching his sister Maggie report for NBC News. Mike is licensed to practice law in all Illinois courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, which covers the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Additionally, he was licensed pro hac vice to conduct a federal jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He's a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
