About Mitchell

Mr. Horner's legal career began while he was in law school, interning for the Hon. Thomas C. Miller, J.S.C. (ret.) and the Delaware Office of Defense Services' Post Disposition Juvenile Advocacy Program, drafting pleadings for personal injury firms, and working as a Certified Legal Intern for the Chester County (P.A.) District Attorney's Office where he gained valuable experience establishing criminal liability during preliminary hearings in front of various magistrate judges. While in law school, Mitchell was a member of the Widener Law Review as well as the Moot Court Honor Society in addition to being a Fellow in the Academic Success Program where he helped provide academic guidance to first and second-year law students. Following law school, Mitchell clerked for the Hon. Gerald J. Council, J.S.C. (ret.) in the Family Division of the New Jersey Superior Court (Middlesex County), where he gained valuable experience with the complex issues of family law including dissolution, child custody, child support, alimony, restraining orders. Mitchell then worked as a litigator with a premier New Jersey law firm, handling cases spanning various subjects such as business litigation, labor and employment, personal injury matters, landlord-tenant disputes, condominium law, and construction law. At Simon Law Group, LLC, Mitchell continues as a litigator and provides stellar representation to clients in handling their civil, criminal and family law matters.
