About Nabeha

Attorney Nabeha Shaer is Class Action Counsel and the Government and Public Policy Liaison at Ben Crump Law, where she directs our Washington D.C. office. Attorney Shaer leads cases of Banking Discrimination, Employment Discrimination, Reparation Rights, Wrongful Death, Class Actions, Mass Torts, and in International Practice. In her work with Ben Crump Law, Attorney Shaer has served the Michael Brown family in their case before the United Nations’ International Commission of Inquiry, and further assisted the United Nations in investigating the racial profiling and systemic racism resulting in the killing of George Floyd. Attorney Shaer’s work on the historic Wrongful Death case of Malcolm X, on behalf of his daughters, against the US Government and other governmental agencies is counted among her cutting-edge case work. Attorney Shaer has successfully achieved settlements of tens of millions of dollars on Banking and Employment Discrimination cases. Attorney Shaer has led such cases against some of the United States’ largest banks, private universities, and insurance companies, and tech-sector industries in dozens of confidential matters. Among her Class Action matters, Attorney Shaer leads our banking discrimination case against Wells Fargo and our employment discrimination class action case pending against Google, LLC. Attorney Shaer is passionate about her work on reparation rights, including representation of the Henrietta Lacks family in their historic fight against major pharmaceutical companies. Attorney Shaer also works on a foundational reparations case of Lanier vs. Harvard University and fights for disenfranchised Black Farmers in litigation against the U.S. Government. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Shaer developed her strong grounding in international criminal law and human rights law at the Erasmus University School of Law. Attorney Shaer served as a Court Clerk Intern for the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review where she worked on asylum cases. She later served as a Legal Intern for the International Bar Association in London, England. During her time at the Florida State University College of Law, she served as the Teaching Assistant for International Criminal Law, founded and led the Muslim Law Student Association, and, upon graduation, was awarded the FSU Blaise N. Gamba Pro Bono Service Award for her over 600 hours of pro bono work. Attorney Shaer has a calling to advocate for international human rights, civil rights advancement, and the Palestinian Cause. As a Palestinian American, Ms. Shaer has first-hand experience of human rights abuses, further propelling her passion for social and legal justice. Through such endeavors, her journal titled “The International Criminal Court Must Prioritize the Palestinian Child Prisoners” was published. Attorney Shaer is proud to contribute to the meaningful and empowering work of Ben Crump Law.
