About Naomi

Naomi received her Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson University of New Jersey, majoring in Political Science, and minoring in Legal Studies. Naomi received her law degree from Rutgers Law School - Newark where she was the Senior Articles Editor for the Women’s Rights Law Reporter and a member of the Economic Justice and Public Benefits Clinic. As a Clinical Student-Attorney, Naomi represented lower-income clients in cases involving federal Social Security and Supplemental Security Income Disability Benefits programs. She represented clients in hearings before the Social Security Administration and participated in pursuing an appeal before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. During law school, Naomi worked for civil litigation firms focusing on general litigation and employment matters. She also spent a summer with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and a semester with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Naomi is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the Hudson County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. Before attending William Paterson University, Naomi spent a year teaching English at a primary school in Lopburi, Thailand. Outside of work, Naomi makes regular trips back to her home state of Vermont where she enjoys finding new hiking trails with her husband and rescue dog. Though she’s been a resident of New Jersey for several years, Naomi is a Vermonter at heart and a self-identified maple syrup connoisseur.
