About Nelson

Mr. “Chris” Maddox was born in Augusta, GA. Chris graduated from College of Charleston, with a B.A. in Political Science in 2008. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Charleston School of Law in 2014. Mr. Maddox is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. He has twice been awarded Lawyer of Distinction both in 2022 and 2023. Mr. Maddox is also a South Carolina Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator. Mr. Maddox enjoys golfing, football, baseball and playing with his dog Betty in his free time. He shares that he once shook Jay Leno’s hand while attending a filming of The Tonight Show. He adds that he enjoys Charleston and the restaurants that the city has to offer.
