My name is Nicholas Platt, managing partner at Platt Law Firm PC. Here, I am dedicated to protecting your rights when you have been injured at work or off the job. I have helped hundreds of clients from all walks of life and all backgrounds successfully resolve their workers’ compensation and personal injury claims. I have a bilingual legal assistant who speaks Spanish, and I am willing to help find interpreters for clients who speak other languages. I’m originally from Ida Grove, Iowa, and received my undergraduate degree from Northern Iowa and law degree from Drake University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as a high school business teacher and coach in Virginia, Wisconsin and in the Chicagoland area. As a lifelong Iowan, I understand the values and challenges that define our great state. Born and raised in Ida Grove, I carry Iowa values in everything I do - honesty, hard work and genuine care for my neighbors. My commitment to Iowa workers extends far beyond my Des Moines office. I serve clients across the entire state because I believe every injured worker deserves strong advocacy, regardless of where they live. I use my experience as a legal advocate and my knowledge of Iowa’s laws surrounding workplace injuries to help injured Iowans maximize their medical benefits and compensation.
