About Omar

Omar Bississo is the principal and founder of Bississo Law, P.C. While in law school, he clerked at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Rockville, Maryland, where he drafted a successful motion to suppress based on an illegal stop under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. After the motion was granted, all the charges against the defendant were dropped. That event was a turning point. Witnessing firsthand the effects of a defense attorney’s work and its profound impact on clients’ lives cemented his desire to practice criminal defense and become a courtroom practitioner. Since then, Omar has been regularly representing clients on charges ranging from DWI and reckless driving to petit larceny and possession of marijuana. An effective and dedicated advocate, Omar is committed to protecting his client’s constitutional rights and providing them with the best representation possible in both civil and criminal cases.
