Paraskevoula Mamounas is an attorney at Simon & Simon, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. Ms. Mamounas brings over twenty years of litigation experience to the firm. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, PC, she was a partner at a well-respected multi-state defense firm based in Pennsylvania for nearly a decade, where she focused exclusively on litigation, including representation of retailers, property owners and managers in slip, trip and falls, as well as drivers and their employers being sued for car accidents where Plaintiffs suffered catastrophic injuries and/or death. Ms. Mamounas graduated cum laude from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science and minoring in Classics and Writing. She then returned to her hometown to attend Brooklyn Law School. While at Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Mamounas participated in a summer study abroad program through Temple Law School, which led to a summer internship with the United States State Department at the American Consulate in Greece. As a law student, she also interned for a New York Supreme Court Civil Judge and a Federal Judge for the United States Court of International Trade. Following law school, Ms. Mamounas began her legal career in New York City practicing civil litigation for several years which included defending various landlords and business owners in premises liability cases. In 2007, after moving to Pennsylvania, she resumed practicing civil litigation at a local Lehigh Valley firm. In 2019, Ms. Mamounas was admitted to the United States Supreme Court. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. Ms. Mamounas is an active member of the Northampton County Bar Association serving as an arbitrator and a part of the civil litigation committee.
