Patrick Emmanuel was a firm namesake, born in 1920, who served in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning a Bronze Star. He served as Florida Bar President from 1985-1986 and was awarded The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 1987 and the Florida Bar Foundation's Medal of Honor in 2001.
