Patrick Kennedy, a firm partner, is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. His practice is devoted to handling cases for injured people, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, automobile and trucking negligence, product liability, and premises liability claims. Patrick has had significant success at trial and, as a result, was honored to be elected a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Fellowship in the Academy is limited to only 500 U.S. trial attorneys under the age of 70. Patrick is also a member of the Connecticut chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) which is comprised of the top trial lawyers in the community who are vigorously engaged in civil litigation. Patrick has been recognized as a “New Leader in the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the field of Plaintiffs Product Liability Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation and, in 2018, was named Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” in Plaintiffs Product Liability Litigation - Hartford. Patrick has been Recognized by New England Super Lawyers Magazine and Connecticut Magazine every year since 2010. Patrick is on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the Medical Malpractice Committee and Continuing Legal Education Committee. Patrick is a member of the Hartford County and New Haven County Bar Associations, the Connecticut Bar Association and American Association for Justice. Patrick currently resides in Cheshire with his wife and three children.
