Patrick Nugent joins Nugent & Bryant with an impressive academic background and valuable judicial experience. A 2023 graduate of Duke University Law School, where he graduated cum laude and served as an Articles Editor for the Duke Law Journal, Patrick brings fresh perspectives and rigorous legal analysis to the firm. Before his legal studies, he earned a mathematics degree from The College of the Holy Cross, graduating summa cum laude in 2020 with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Patrick’s legal career began with a prestigious clerkship for the Honorable Gregory Phillips of the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, where he honed his research and writing skills while gaining insight into appellate decision-making. His mathematical background provides him with exceptional analytical abilities that serve clients well in complex cases. Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Patrick demonstrates determination and discipline in all his pursuits, qualities evident in his completion of the Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon during his undergraduate years.
