Paul Caputo is a founding partner and senior trial attorney at Caputo & Van Der Walde. He has a long and successful history in courtrooms throughout Northern and Central California, fighting for injured victims in car accidents, wrongful death, and various personal injury cases. Following in his father's footsteps, Paul maintains high ethical standards and advocates for clients, often expending significant resources for those unable to pay upfront. He is the only Santa Clara County attorney chosen as the 'California Trial Lawyer of the Year' by the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). He has secured major victories, including challenging transit agency policies, taking on large corporations like Foster Farms, and settling cases against auto manufacturers and police departments for millions. He has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for 16 consecutive years since 2005 and is AV Preeminent® peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. He is also a past president of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association, a board fellow at Santa Clara University, and a professor of Torts at Lincoln University Law School.
