About Paul

Paul Mansfield has been practicing law for 40 years. He graduated 2nd in a class of 1750 (summa cum laude) at Rutgers College in 1980 and attended New York University School of Law, graduating in 1983. He is admitted to the bars of New York and Pennsylvania. He practiced First Amendment and entertainment litigation at Coudert Brothers in New York and litigation in-house at Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. He began his career in criminal law in 1985 as a Special Attorney for the Department of Justice in the Fort Lauderdale Field Office of the Miami Organized Crime Strike Force. He then worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia and later as an Assistant U.S Attorney in Philadelphia (Organized Crime Division), where he tried organized crime, drug, and firearms cases. He was awarded the Executive Office of U.S Attorneys Director’s Award. For the past 10 years, he has worked as a criminal defense attorney in the Philadelphia area, including with the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office.
