About Paul
Paul Mascot's father was a career Air Force Officer, leading Paul to live in various locations including CA, MA, AL, VA, HI, TX, and Libya. He graduated High School in Waco, TX, in 1965 and Virginia Military Institute in 1969. He served 2 years active duty in the US Army Military Intelligence Branch and 18 years in the Army Reserve, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1975. Paul worked as an attorney for the State of Texas from 1976-2008 and has been in private practice from 2008-Present. He has served on the Boards of several animal rescue groups and the Humane Society of Austin & Travis Co, TX. He is married to Rebecca Mascot for 30 years and enjoys fishing, hiking, and travel.
