He began his career as an attorney, taking on product liability cases against large international pharmaceutical companies. Peter Anderson also served as an associate attorney where he assisted a law team in negotiating a multi-million dollar settlement for survivors of a deadly mine blast in 2010. Other noteworthy cases Mr. Anderson was involved in include: His assistance in the litigation involving wrongful death cases that came as a result of a plane crash and the 2013 Navy Yard shooting. He was assigned to the Law, Briefing and Discovery Committees in the Granuflo lawsuit, which resulted in a $250 million international settlement. He has prosecuted several negligent nursing home facilities in the Washington, D.C. area and won large settlements. In 2017, Mr. Anderson secured a large settlement against a VA hospital for displaying negligence when the facility failed to protect a mental health patient from being assaulted by another patient who was known to have violent tendencies.
