About Peter
Peter Phillips joined the firm in 2006. He advises and represents school districts, municipalities, and other employers in labor and employment matters, focusing on public sector labor relations and collective bargaining since 1990. He advises on contracts, discipline, grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practices, and employment discrimination. Peter served as Hearing Officer and Counsel to the New Hampshire Public Employee Labor Relations Board (PELRB) from 2003 to 2006 and worked for the American Arbitration Association and the National Labor Relations Board. He earned his B.A. from Villanova University and J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire state and federal courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of several legal associations and has contributed to legal publications and spoken at seminars. He also served on the Board of Trustees of Link House, Incorporated, and on West Newbury's Board of Appeals and Finance Committee.
