Raymond L. Hamlin is a founding partner at Hunt, Hamlin & Ridley, established in 1995. He is a trial lawyer specializing in employment discrimination, civil rights (including excessive force and wrongful death cases), criminal defense, and representing governmental entities. He has achieved significant jury awards and settlements, including a $1.48 million award against the Port Authority and a $600,000 settlement against Rutgers University. In 2019, he was recognized among the top 50 verdicts in NJ and top 100 in the US. He serves as Counsel to XLegacy, LLC, representing Malcolm X's daughters, and is co-counsel with Benjamin Crump in a wrongful death lawsuit related to Malcolm X's assassination.
