About Renee
Renee Gruber is a personal injury attorney with nine years of experience in slip and falls, motor vehicle crashes, general negligence, and dog bites. She also has experience in management, small business ownership, human resources, finance, non-profit work, legislative drafting, health care services, and legal. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, graduating Cum Laude and within the top twenty of her class. She was a research assistant for legal writing and a published author for the law review. Renee received book awards for Urban Law Clinic, business organizations, elder law, and taxation. She was a G Mennen Moot Court Competition Quarter Finalist and Treasurer of the Student Bar Association. She also drafted legislation that was successfully passed to stop scrapping in Detroit. She started at Legal Aid and Defender’s Association and a boutique employment discrimination law firm before moving into personal injury and starting her own practice.
