Robert (Beau) Stubbs III

About Robert

Robert (Beau) Stubbs practiced law in North Georgia from 1986 until his retirement at the beginning of 2018. He was a civil litigator for all of that time, including several years as the Forsyth County Attorney. For the last 25 years of his practice, Mr. Stubbs focused on family law, including divorce, high asset and complex division of assets, appeals, modification, contempt and contested custody issues. He practiced all over North Georgia but concentrated his practice in Forsyth, Cherokee, Hall, Lumpkin and Dawson County. He strove to resolve family law issues without rancor or unnecessary expense but recognized litigation was often the only viable option to resolution. Prior to his private practice of law, Mr. Stubbs was an Assistant US Attorney in Atlanta and Roanoke, Virginia, and began his law career as a law clerk to the Honorable Ted Dalton in the Western District of Virginia. Mr. Stubbs is currently an Emeritus member of the State Bar of Georgia.
