About Robert

A co-founder of the firm, Bob has been a respected and successful trial and appellate lawyer in this region for decades. Over the last 40 years, Bob has handled litigation before federal, state and local tribunals in both Illinois and Missouri. He has tried to jury verdict cases in St. Louis County, Missouri, and the counties of Jefferson, Macoupin, Madison, Marion, and St. Clair in Illinois. He has handled litigation pending in three different counties in Missouri and 18 different counties in Illinois. Bob has successfully tried cases to jury verdict involving vehicular accidents, products liability, railroad employee injuries, homeowner’s liability and medical malpractice. Bob also devotes a significant portion of his practice to probate, real estate, and real estate tax issues, including both valuation and rate issues. The most notable legal work performed by Bob involved representing a railroad in connection with the like-kind exchange of millions of dollars worth of real estate with a municipality, which enabled the funding and construction of a light rail transportation system in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
