About Robert

Robert J. Hanrahan joined Shannon Law Group as a personal injury attorney in September 2023. Robert’s first career was in Public Works, where he worked on construction sites, operated heavy machinery and drove commercial motor vehicles for over 12 years. During that time, he saw how quickly individuals could get injured at no fault of their own and have their lives changed forever. Robert still holds a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and he is familiar with the rules and regulations for those who drive oversized and commercial vehicles. With this prior career, Robert has a unique perspective on personal injury cases using a combination of firsthand knowledge from his Public Works days and legal training, which allows him to see cases from all angles. Robert holds a Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law, as well as various certifications and memberships. He notes practicing law comes with the ability to work within the set rules, while also being able to create change through creative and innovative practice. His education, knowledge, and experience make him a great advocate for plaintiffs who were harmed due to the negligence of others. He enjoys working at Shannon Law Group because of its team atmosphere working together toward a common goal.
