About Robert

Rob is a Washington native who was born and raised in Pacific County. He earned his undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University in 1989 and his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga in 1995. Most recently he graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in July of 2011. Rob has been working with Washington State Workers'' Compensation claims since June of 1989 where he began working in a law firm in Tacoma. During law school he performed the same work as well as representing indigent plaintiffs through Gonzaga’s legal clinic. Since law school he has represented countless people in Workers' Compensation claims in this state, as well as working in the area of Social Security Disability. Rob’s current work includes handling seriously injured people in Washington who are trying to overcome hurdles in their Workers'' Compensation and/or Personal Injury claims. This includes almost continuous litigation in hearings before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals as well as trials in Superior Court. Rob has tried cases in 9 different counties in Washington and successfully argued leading and published decisions in the Washington Court of Appeals. See Pollard v. Weyerhaeuser Company, 123 Wash. App. 506 (2004) and before the Washington Supreme Court in Cowlitz Stud v. Clevenger, 157 Wn.2d 569 (2006). Rob is a member of the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has also served the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Legal Aid as President, Vice President and Board member. In his free time Rob enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. If you don’t find him in the office, you will most likely find him fishing or hunting with his kids or coaching youth sports.
