About Ron

Ron F. Wright is a founding partner at Horn Wright, LLP, where he focuses on aggressively and compassionately representing injured plaintiffs, having handled thousands of cases against defendants and insurance companies during his career. He knows how insurance companies exploit individuals who don’t understand their rights and works hard to level the playing field for his clients. Ron believes everyone deserves a fair shot, no matter how tough the odds are. Ron is admitted to practice in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. As an instrument-rated pilot with thousands of hours of flight time, he personally flies the firm’s airplane throughout the Northeast representing individual and corporate clients. Year after year Ron has been selected to The Best Lawyers in America® in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation, which highlights the top 6% of private practicing attorneys in the United States. A graduate of Albany Law School, Ron served as Executive Editor for the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology where he was also a member of the Albany Law School Trial Team; winner of the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition; winner of the Judge Merle Nahum Fogg, Jr. ’45 Moot Court Prize; inducted into the honor society of the Order of Barristers, recipient of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association Award, and his note entitled “Shocking the Second Amendment: Invalidating State Prohibitions on Taser with the District of Columbia v. Heller,” 20 ALB. L.J. SCI. & TECH. 159 (2010) was published and cited in an amicus brief for U.S. Circuit Court matters. Ron earned his bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University while also a member of the men’s Division I Wrestling Team. When not practicing law or flying airplanes, Ron spends his time chasing whitetail deer and helping his wife keep track of their two sons Maddox and Jameson.
