Ronald J. Resmini is one of Rhode Island’s Foremost Trial Attorneys handling cases of personal injury, accident and tort law, having concentrated in this area for more than 50 years. He was sworn in before the Bar in June, 1969, served in the United States Army Security Agency, and clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He is a founder of IOLTA and court-annexed arbitration, and a former Assistant Town Solicitor for Coventry and part-time Instructor at Roger Williams School of Law. He has published over 20 legal handbooks and several two-volume series on tort law, personal injury practice, civil procedure, and RI actions and remedies. He has argued numerous cases before the Rhode Island Court clarifying various laws. He has been selected as a Super Lawyer for 13 consecutive years, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and awarded Massachusetts Senior Attorney of the Year in 2010 and the Hall of Fame Award for Excellence in the Law in 2021. He is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 and National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.
