About Sam

Sam Watford is an attorney with Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney, & Hobbs P.A., where he focuses his civil litigation practice on Nursing and Group Home Negligence, Personal Injury, and Employment Law. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Sam graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 2019 with a degree in finance. He then attended law school at the Florida State University College of Law, where he served as editor of the Business Law Review, received the book award in Advanced Legal Research, and was honored with the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. After graduating from law school and being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2022, Sam began his legal career at Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney, & Hobbs P.A.. His passion for helping people drives his representation of individuals in personal injury, nursing home negligence, and employment law matters. He previously led the firm’s landlord-tenant practice, in which he represented numerous property owners throughout Florida. Sam is licensed to practice in Florida state courts and the Northern District of Florida. He has represented individuals and businesses in the Tallahassee area and the Florida Panhandle. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Capital City Justice Association, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar. When not serving clients, Sam enjoys playing tennis, supporting his beloved Seminoles, and spending time at the beach with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two dogs, Cooper and Thor.
