About Sarah

Sarah M. Blake is an Attorney with Turner-Monahan, PLLC with 100% of her practice dedicated to family law matters. Sarah has been a litigation attorney since 2005, with much of that time focused solely of family law. Sarah has been recognized as a Top Attorney in Family Law by Fort Worth Magazine as well as a Top Attorney by 360West multiple times throughout her career. Along with extensive experience in general, civil litigation in Texas state courts, Sarah is, also, licensed in all four federal district courts in the State of Texas as well as the Federal District Court for Colorado. Sarah knows that each family law case is unique, bringing its own distinct set of challenges and issues. As such, Sarah strongly believes that the parties are in the best position to make the decisions that are best for their families and encourages negotiations whenever possible. However, she also understands that sometimes the best resolution is through the courts, and her extensive litigation and trial experience makes her an excellent advocate in the courtroom. Sarah is originally from Houston, Texas and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2005 with her Juris Doctorate. During law school, she practiced in the legal clinics serving underprivileged families in family law, probate and social security matters. In addition to her law degree, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and in Chemistry from The University of Tulsa. Sarah is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, and Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity.
