Scott L. Summers is an attorney with 30 years of legal and litigation experience. He was a partner in a large West Virginia law firm before opening Summers Law Office, PLLC. His extensive litigation experience covers catastrophic injury, workplace injuries, premises liability, mass litigation, toxic tort, products liability, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, and more. He also handles business sales, employment matters, contract drafting, divorce, and adoption. Scott has argued cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and is a trained mediator. He holds a 'BV' rating from Martindale Hubbell and is recognized by Chambers USA for natural resources law. A 1995 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, he is admitted to practice in all West Virginia State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
